Citrulline Malate Products

Citrulline malate combines the amino acid citrulline with malate, a compound involved in cellular energy pathways. It is distinct from a powder that contains only L-Citrulline.

Citrulline malate is commonly used in pre-workout products with the aim of supporting exercise performance. Reviews have found mixed or small effects depending on the activity and study design, so it should not be expected to work the same way for everyone.

The total weight of citrulline malate is not the same as the amount of citrulline it provides. Check the product label for the stated composition and follow its serving directions rather than converting from an L-Citrulline serving on your own.
